Eyes

Well many times in your short life I have called you "Bluey" . You have the most striking blue eyes. Having brown eyes myself, as well as your father, we thought for sure our children would also have brown eyes. We were pleasantly surprised by your blonde hair and blue eyes. But, alas I have noticed you have a hint of brown in each eye, on different spots. I thought i saw it a few weeks ago so lately I keep asking you if I can see your eyes. It's for sure there now. I wonder if I had a sense they were changing ( no one else saw it until now) or if just being your Mom even the slightest bit of change was obvious only to me first.

So I wonder what will happen? I asked you in the car if you wanted to have green, hazel (like Uncle Jamie and Grandma) or brown eyes. You said "green" and proceeded to tell me my eyes are too black and are not pretty. Ha! You were not being mean though, just honest. It was funny
