I feel bad I haven't posted, but hey being a Mom, there is alot of busy work involved! At least you will have something from each year right ( well starting from last year ha) .
How much has changed in the last year. You have developed quite the sarcastic but sweet personality ( much like your parents! ) You have mastered your debating skill's when it comes to rules and life. I find myself using the sales skills I learned at work just to get you to take a bite of veggies! You are very reward motivated, as we have found this works best for helping you feel like you are not being told what to do, but earning something for doing what we want.
You also are such a procrastinator. You will put anything off by asking for a hug and a kiss, its so cute! You know it will work every time, especially with your Mommy.
One challenge we have had, and we know its our fault, you are quite the smack talker. You know insults such as 'your face' and 'cookie head' . You have picked up a few swear words from me ( oops ) but not as many as you have picked up at daycare. The other day you told your Daddy you were going to kick his ass! Imagine our shock at that, as its nothing that is ever said in our household. Your such a sponge!
When Daddy puts you to bed you guys read Thomas the Train books, and when I put you to bed its the Nighttime Rabbits. That book has a back story: Early in your parents marriage your father would talk a little in his sleep. I, your Mommy, thought it was funny to confuse him and talk about Rabbits. I would ask him if he was going to go get the Rabbits, Help the Rabbits.. etc and confuse him until he was awake and frustrated at my goofiness. One day he came home with the book, Nighttime Rabbits. I saved it for when I had you, and we read it each time I put you to bed. Our favorite page is the 'Tickle Tickle Dance' page where the rabbits are in the berry bushes.
I found out there is a way to turn the blog into a book, so I am resolved to now write daily about you so you have something to read when your older.
